Dartford History
Amar Hall which is a function hall located in Dartford was originally a YMCA as shown in the photograph below. Some recent building works revealed a plaque with 'YMCA 1887' on it. This plaque is currently undergoing restoration but shall remain a permanent feature of the premises.
